Front seats and door cards needed a little bit more work. Help this time from a Scuffmaster kit and about six layers of dye to the worst affected areas:

Last week was the turn of the hood. Renovo products being: cleaner, dye, waterproofer - some before and after shots:

Today started the paint work correction using Das Pro6 with 3M foam pads. Clayed the boot, then used Meguiars Ultimate Compound, followed by Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine and finished off with Collinite 845 carnuba wax:

I keep looking at adverts for these, has to be one of the coolest looking convertibles out there. I'm not convinced I want one enough to run as a second car but if a cheap one comes up I might get tempted.

Do you mind telling what you paid for it?

Yeah - decent low mileage cars are getting hard to find especially manual Mtec's. Prices for really good ones appear to be heading north slightly. Mine's a keeper unless someone offers money I can't refuse.

The genuine Alpina's that it came with are going in for a refurb soon.

New floor mats arrived this week too :-)

Lovely indeed Rupert!!

Are you bringing this to the meet at the end of the month?

Rather than that tatty F11  ;-)

Not sure yet Ray - a lot of it will be weather dependent!!

Looking good and I think a set of e36 Sport specific Style 29's would be THE wheel for your car.  Never been a fan of Alpina wheels on the e30 & e36 unless they are deep dish.

a nice genuine set of m3 contours or sunflowers would look the part on that!! with deeper dish rear, mine in the pic were genuine staggered setup.

And change those front lights, they are hideous!! lol.

Genuine unmolested far better.

Cars looking fantastic, can't wait to see the end product! Keep up the hard work and get those nasty lights changed.
