hicube 3 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 HI All,I have just become the new proud owner of a 2002 540i sport in Titan silver with Black leather.I had been looking around for a while for the right spec car, This one just about ticked all the boxes..Memory seats,Steering wheel and mirrorsGlass sunroofDark glass option (not window tint film)Xenon headlightsWide screen sat navSplit fold rear seatsBlack graphite trimExtras:Cades Apollo 19" alloys (8.5" and 9.5" Staggered)Genuine AC Schnitzer electric mirrors.The car is in pretty good shape with just a few little jobs for me to do to.New Discs and pads all round (Grooved and drilled being fitted tomorrow)New starter motor because of occasional grinding ( Have read on here its fairly common...) New one being fitted tomorrowThe dreaded dashboard missing pixels ( can anyone recommend a good eBay source.... lots to choose from) All in all, I'm really pleased with the car and look forward to maybe attending some meets in the futureFantastic forum by the way !! Theodoric 4 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 (edited) Welcome, I too was looking for a 540i but had to "settle" for a 535i but given the HP difference I doubt I could tell. Mine has 145kon the clock and it runs like it was on the production line last Monday, mine is as quiet as a mouse, I can't fault it.Can't fault the blue magic tree, I thought I was the only one who bought them these days!! The leather, the car colour and the treemakes it a reflection of mine! spookyIt's more than likely too late but I read somewhere about an owner fitting those grooved and drilled discs with nothing but problems and wishing he had stuck to OE discs.
