Stunnin' them

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I've seen some pis of u buys' rides and love the way they look sooo shined up man. I have question - whats the best product to use to get that shine.

I remember washing my old polo with fairy liquid back in 02 (dont ask) but now that ive got the e60 ive got to be proper with it!

Do u guys wash and wax it yourselves to get a better job or do u just go to the regular £10 in and outers?

Cheers

Go to the Detailing section of the forum mate, it'll show you what sort of stuff we use to clean our cars with...£10 is nothing when it comes to cleaning your car, especially a newer E60 like yours. Just a decent wash mitt from Meguiars costs £10.

If you're looking for a no frills solution though, i'd recommend:

Meguiars lambs wool wash mitt - £10

Meguiars Gold class shampoo - £15-ish

A decent waffle weave/microfibre/Terry towel to dry the car with - £5 - £10

Decent wax, anything really, tutrle wax, meguiars tech wax, carnuba enriched waxes, etc etc...

Like I said though, detailing section will help you on this one.

"Listen Eliza you little skank bitch, I've been running ho's on this patch for years!"

That one Tims?

Not actually what I remember Rex Harrison saying, nor am I certain it is how George Bernard Shaw would have phrased it, but that is the general idea.

Yep, had a couple of trips to the scrappy and got my blood money and space.Need an e39/38 3.5 litre, post '99, and if you could keep the lass happy with an E30 rag top, in top notch condition for a couple of bob I could buy you a pint. Obviously the last one is easy to do.
