Toughguyhuh 20 Report post Posted February 8 Does anyone happen to have the pinout for the two cable looms running into the CD changer? It should be the same on E39, E38, E53 etc with 6 CD changer. The 535i I picked up over the weekend has had a hatchet job by a previous owner to use a mini jack cable in place of the CD changer audio and I want to revert it, but they hacked off the 6-pin plug which goes from the changer and carries the audio to the stereo up front. I can't find the plug or pinout online so will have to make up a pin carrier to plug it back into the changer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

RichardP 1,190 Report post Posted February 8 Having looked at your pinout above, it's not strictly correct! You'll find only three wires (maybe 4 in older cars). The pinout is : 1 : Left + (white) 2 and 5 : Common ground. (clear) 4 : Right + (black) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
