That is a beauty - great colour and as you say a good price.

That is lovely... That, would make me consider selling mine in a heartbeat... But at that price; not sure if I'd be comfy in paying that personally

I'm not so sure Dan. It's a rare car and if was a V8 would be closer to £20k. I doubt that you find another B10 touring for sale and if you do the price on this one might look favourable.

B10's prices have risen quite hard these last four years.

Yeah; totally get that. Just for me personally, spending that amount on a car of that age doesn't sit well...

On the other hand; I have said that I've absolutely no idea what I'd replace mine with if I were to sell it... Without spending a lot more £££ than I'd want to!

Well, apparently someone has put down a deposit on it (according to a post on the Alpina Register)

Can't be many about in the UK now pal; so not a surprise...

A large chunk though; but always going to appeal to the 'right crowd'..

Were you tempted?

Yes I was, but my 530i Sport Touring does everything ok!

Probably more than OK pal...

Apart from the 'Alpina' stuff and a bigger engine can't really see what real world difference the B10 would make...

Unless I'm missing something

Moire Alaskagrau Grey is the colour IIRC

Comes up as 397 I think; but thought that was Anthracite grey: http://www.e38registry.org/anthrazit-metallic-397/

Could be wrong...

A B10 3.3 would give you 540i performance and 530i economy, and the Alpina ride quality as well.
