thomp1983 22 Report post Posted January 21 Hi all, probably one for gonzo as it's coding, I want to code out the rpa/rdc tyre monitoring system. It goes off randomly every couple of weeks and if I check the tyres there pressure is at most 2psi different so it's not overly accurate and it annoys me. In ncsexpert I've ran codierdaten_lesen on all the ecu's listed individually and set any reference to rpa or rdc to nicht_active followed by coding each ecu with sg_codieren but when I go into the idrive vehicle settings RPA is still there, is there a $ code in the vo for the tyre monitoring if not I'm not sure what I've missed, anyone any ideas? thanks chris Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

thomp1983 22 Report post Posted January 21 Glad I'm not the only one then, I know the system works by monitoring the abs sensors and a flat tyre gives a different reading but I'm no where near that when it goes off and frankly I don't need the car to tell me to look at my tyres, my wife on the other hand... I run 2.6 bar at front(245/35/R19) and 2.8 at rear(275/30/R19) the only thing it activated was when my old front tyre had a slow puncture at 1.7 bar... Biotoxic 77 Report post Posted January 23 You have either a $2VB for tpms or $265 for a tire pressure monitor. Delete it from cas(if you read it from CAS) then FA_write to CAS and LMA. the quickest way would be to use the factory reset profile and do SG_codieren to CAPPL, KOMBI and DSC. if you want to do it manually it would be the RPA you need to find and disable. hope it helps.
