Recommended Posts

About to hook up the CTEK to the 520d. Have found the positive connector but where please is the negative?

Thanks

Here you go look for a plain metal post just under the bonnet drivers side towards the front, if your ctek charger has a agm battery setting and your vehicles has a agm battery fitted select that setting to charge.

That's not an F10 engine bay so doesn't have that negative connector there

Changed the mode to AGM battery and has been on charge for two hours - think it'll need while longer as only gone from 3 to 4 on the scale and needs to get to 7 iirc

It should always be on agm mode and your looking at alot longer as agm batteries take a while.

Yep first time have used it on the F11 - it usually charges up the E36 convertible which gets no use in the winter.
