Hi Loadmaster, After a quick look at the MoT history I would offer the following observations: 4 December, 2006 - Pass - 122,151 miles - no advisories. 14 November, 2006 - Fail - 122,826 miles - wiper blades. 14 November, 2007 - Pass - 122,826 miles - no advisories. 22 September, 2008 - Pass - 123,147 miles - no advisories. 24 September, 2009 - Pass - 123,270 miles - no advisories. no MoT history for 8 years. 2 May, 2017 - Fail - 123,319 miles - front and rear brakes binding. 5 May, 2017 - Pass - 123,328 miles - no advisories. 29 April, 2018 - Pass - 123,427 miles - no advisories. 15 May, 2019 - Pass - 123,627 miles - Power Steering leak. 9 May, 2020 - Pass - 124,535 miles - no advisories. 1. 2,384 miles in 14 years. 2. The paintwork looks to be free from dings and blemishes appears to be original, and presents very well in the photographs. 5. The interior looks to be free from any wear, especially the drivers seat & bolster. No evidence of small children or pets in the back. 6. The dash is crack free. Conclusions 1. The first owner cared for this car and kept it in a garage. Was this a company car that became a retirement gift / purchase which could account for the low mileage (1,119) of a retired owner between 2004 - 2009. 2. Owner unable to drive 2009 - 2017 and eventually sold the car / estate sale 2017. 3. The current owner has garage kept the car and used it sparingly (1,265) 2017 - 2020 which supports this claim. 4. The current owner has put a tasteful set of period correct 16" wheels on the car. This again supports the claim of being cared for. 5. Condition is everything and I can see no reason to not take a look at this fine car in order to verify the claims and its condition. 6. If the condition of the car is that good then leather seats, air conditioning, and a host of other "options" can be retro fitted from the BMW parts bin. Price, there are quite a few E28's asking for strong money but few fully measure up and usually require a "little welding" to pass an MoT or a "little paintwork".
