Yuri84 51 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 Hi. I wonder if somebody could help me out because i am stuck. Want to do some coding on my e60 07 plate pre lci. I have cable and bmw standart tools. I when ncs expert is reading ecu error pops up and it states Following feature is invalid for FA: $820. So basically it will not read FA for cas or lma. I updated sp daten files for my chassi, but still no joy. It is funny, because it work great on our e61 57 plate which is lci model and i cdone some coding, but as soon as i plug in my e60 i keep getting same error. Maybe somebody could help me out? Many thanks
Clavurion 732 Report post Posted June 23, 2020 There is no additional equipment or coding for $820. That's why NCS has a discrepancy and flags an error. Most likely that vehicle has been coded with third party tools and that's generated an FA code which does not exist. You have to go thru your FA list and change it properly. Biotoxic 74 Report post Posted September 8, 2020 From what I could find 820 option is for Latin America version.... Before you do anything check the both modules you read from Cas & frm/kbm/lma has the same vin number. Select cas then when it loads take a picture on your phone of details, close the ncs and load Ncs again but use the other module. Once it checks out and after you can see the vin there will be FA listed(F2) . Click on it, your Vin will be shown click ok. In a list find and delete $820 with Delete button on keyboard, click back. Then you should be able to choose modules and read/code them.

There is no option 820 for E6x chassis. You can check this on NCSEXPER/DATEN/E60AT file.
