Recaro seat option in Alpina B10s

Recommended Posts

Check out the gorgeous Recaro seats in this B10

Does anyone know what the actual model number of the seats is and if are they a straight fit into an E39. I'm assuming Alpina had to fettle them to make them fit...

They look similar to E60 M5 seats

Hi,

I believe Alpina approached Recaro and asked for customised to their design seats based on the Recaro Topline range - http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/ergonomics/style-topline.php

Recaro also do the Trendline and Sportline which are simialrly shaped with less features and cheaper.

Cheers, Dennis!

They look much like E6x comfort or M5 seats but only basic functions seems to be electric. Nothing like the adjustable / active side bolsters.

I’ve often thought about them!

I think there the same as these Audi ones but with more padding under the leather but essentially the same seat imo, I was looking to make some fit but then ended up with m5 seats and kept it oem

theres actually a pair on ebay from an e46

audi never had lumber ofr heated etc

so you need to find a set with lumber at least, if it has heated it has the cooling vent system as well, would only be live and earth and then the heated would go to the original heat wiring which is only 1 or 2 wires again

would be easy enouh to wire up, only downside means you would have to have the seat retrimmed in leather and fit them to e39 bases and they have manual lumber which sucks
