Stunning e34 535i sport

Recommended Posts

Looks to be a tidy one this, I’d say the best I’ve seen come up for sale in while, manual and 85k miles, be interesting to see what it brings, I’d love to have a bid on it myself it’s ashame I’m not in a position to get another car!

I've always said that an M30 engined E34 is a great drive, and it looks a better car than the possible Hartge example...

Seconded. Still have my 535i/5 Sport which I ran alongside a 540i/6, V8 sound aside I personally prefer the earlier big 6.

Great colour combo that eBay example. Watching with interest to see where it ends.

true, adding two turbos makes the M30 even better!

I have no decent experience about turbo M30's apart from short drives in both single and twin turbo versions; I do know the non-turbo M30 engine will reliably outlive almost every chassis you put it in, and still happily pull you along with minimum fuss and maximum smiles.

Lovely car but can’t figure out whether it is genius or madness to set your eBay auction to end mid-afternoon on Boxing Day...

There isn't one decent pic of the full car either and the seller has made little attempt in writing an advert, however it still seems to be garnering interest... ;)

7k but still didn’t meet its reserve, maybe 8k was the price? A lot of money compared to what the could be had for not too long back, but cheap when you look at e30 prices!

no doubt it’ll be back up again soon

To be fair if I had 10k I didn’t need floating about I’d buy that tomorrow! Nice car, if it was black or silver or laser blue I think it would have sold already, not dissing its colour but it would be bottom of my preferred list

My imaginary £10k would be joined by the contents of any and all piggy-banks/under seat car searches/backs of sofa searches etc to have a go and getting this...

*Warning- advert is not a 5 series.

I like that! E32s back in the day never really got the bug for them, I went e38 740i sport instead, but looking back now anything that looks tasty with round headlights I’d love to own!
