This is an electronic failure of a module or ride height controls. The car is telling the suspension to deflate as each wheel is totally independent of the other. 
the compressor only needs to work when a load is placed in the rear of the car so can go for months without being used.

I bought a cheaper £130 pump on eBay and though it’s a bit noisier than the original it pumps up well, tops up when needed/increased load and seems to be working as meant to. I would definitely check for leaks with watery fairy liquid spray first. The other option is to get the pressure outputs checked with an air suspension specialist. Good luck 

Where did you get the pump from. Easy Install?

Garage job or can I diagnose myself?
