Anyone ever removed a carpet?

Wonder how big of a job this is really, where you’re likely to get stuck, what’s going to break in the process.

I’ve had my headlining out to powdercoat my roof rails and I slapped in some soundproofing on everything that came out while I was there. Got a lot left over so thinking of doing the floor as I’ve done the door cards today. Here’s hoping it isn’t half the job the headliner was...

You are more likely find it difficult to man handle out the front seats, and any errors you may get electrically disconnecting the seats will need to be reset.

The fixings should all come out easily enough if you are gentle and have some decent trim tools.

If you decide to undertake this interior strip down to access the carpets you need to disconnect the battery to avoid ^^^^^^ this possibility.
