Removing superglue spots?

Recommended Posts

Cut a long story short, I have spots of superglue on my roof, windscreen and bonnet. They’re barely noticable unless you’re looking for them, but I know they’re there.

Anybody have any suggestions to removing them without damaging paint?

I’ve tried claybar and polish to no results, I read that acetone based chemicals will eat away and destroy the paint below!

any help is much appreciated

Various products like this about although not sure how to check if they will affect paint.  Perhaps try one out on a tucked away area e.g. in the engine bay somewhere.

+1 for this but try on an inconspicuous area first I'd suggest. I've used superglue remover and it is fantastic.
