535D M Sport - Newbie - advice

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon

I am a newbie to BMW and after much research have decided to look at jumping on this: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F193021913079

Or something similar, it is the LCI model and it seems that is the one to have due to the lighter engine, more MPG etc etc. also the egr delete and swirl flaps has been done, again have read that is worthwhile doing

any negatives in this or do i jump right in?

grateful for any help, advice or pointers

thank you in advance

Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark.

I can't open the link to the ad (work computer ) but I assume it's an E60/61. Anyhow, best to post this query in the relevant tech section further down the home page for specific responses.

This is probably why i need help :)https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-535d-m-sport-twin-turbo-2007/303236079290?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

This was the add i was looking at, although I am open minded regards the 3 or 5 series, however i prefer larger cars but i bet the 3 series with that engine goes like a bullet

regards

Mark

PS: Thanks for the welcome Loadmaster - also a Gatwick worker, however on the Fuels side of life :)

welcome to the forums :)

IMO looks a nice motor, but basic spec and I’d personally want xenons and heated seats at a minimum...

There are a few of them out there, worth looking around and consider travelling further for the right car.

As already said, any specific E60/61 question, please ask in the relevant E60 tech section

Not actually 'on site' at Gatwick anymore, not since 2004.  I'm with the 'Feds' over the road...
