Drivechain - Drive Moderately

Recommended Posts

Sytner Nottingham have been very unhelpful for me, 3 attempts to fix my car then giving me my money back and sending me on my way rather than try to resolve the issue, I have the car booked in for further warranty work and my car has managed to break down twice the day before it was due in, it must be scared to go back again!

If you ever need diagnostics I have BMW diagnostics to read the codes generic software can't figure out.
How did you get BMW diagnostics?

BMW ISTA and an ENET cable are readily available. For the former just ask and the latter you can buy on the Bay.

I'm very interested in this.

This cable seems to have good reviews and I think it should work in my 2013 F10 yeah?

Regarding the software, is this something I could get hold of please?

This is a torrent and a bloody huge one but it contains everything including a lengthy install guide. https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArTAP9qwiGB0i7FsyYr9pvrE_QGQZg

2nd options the slimmed down version with no programming files https://www.bimmergeeks.net/downloads

Rheingold is ISTA (it will stall at 5gb for 6 hours if you don't pay for mega.nz so leave it open and it will finish)

Standard tools are everything else for coding and updating.

Datens are the flash files (You won't need these yet)

I'm only in Ilkeston so if things seem a bit foreign download what you need and pop over for a brew.

ENET cable in the link will be fine.

No m8 even ISTA/P is very limited with only a few retrofits to offer, you use standard tools https://www.bimmergeeks.net/downloads

NCSexpert reads and writes the config files and NCSdummy is a user friendly interface to edit them to enable said features.
