weber magic 74 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 Hi Mick, It's off the trailer and tucked up in the barn now. Once we've cleared out our current restorations, an M535i and an E23 we will be getting started on yours. I will run a blog at www.classicbahnstormers.com where one on an ex members m535i can already be found and I will reproduce the same thing here in the project section. Here's a few pics from the collection Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Ordnator reacted to this

Hey Jeroen, I only have a PC and they show up ok. On the Forum page at the top look in the "Gallery" section under "E28 525e Nutria Comfort Leather on Bronzitbeige" as that is where the pictures are stored. Hi Jeroen, Thank you for your positive comments. Absolutely, hence the body restoration coupled with parts bin upgrades from the options catalogue. The Bronzitbeige Eta started out as a standard Lux with a pearl beige velour interior. The velour tufting started to drop out when the Nutria leather interior popped up on Car & Classic back in 2014. Rear electric windows had to be sourced as the Nutria console had four window switch cut outs This was followed by a rear towing re-enforcement (strut brace), M5 rear anti-roll bar, passenger seat manual vertical seat base height adjuster, large tool tray and boot lid liner. There are some more things that I plan to have fitted during the restoration but more of that later in the restoration Regards, Mick Edited February 4 by Ordnator
Ordnator 433 Report post Posted February 1 It's been 4 years so time for some updates: This arrived from Felipe in Spain on Friday: Which was very well packaged and contained a little present, thank you Felipe: Which had these inside all of the packaging: Which had some new old stock Hella French yellow fog light lenses: Which will be fitted to the Bronzitbeige Eta in due course. Stay safe and best regards, Mick
Ordnator 433 Report post Posted February 1 (edited) This also arrived a few weeks back from Felipe in Spain: Which contained two of these: Which contained two new old stock Euro French headlight assemblies, "one left one and one right one" (reminds me of a song when I was in the scouts): Which will also be retrofitted to the Bronzitbeige Eta in due course. Hi Jez, Just like Christmas, only for E28's Acquired a set of reproduction M5 front anti-roll bar mounts (41.11.2.230.014) which are NLA, to go with the front 25mm M5 anti-roll bar (31.35.2.225.886), 25 mm rubber mounts (31.35.2.226.001) and support brackets (31.35.1.131.622): All now safely with Steve at Classic Bahnstormers for installation to the Bronzitbeige Eta. I fitted the 18 mm M5 rear anti-roll bar (33.55.2.225.888) and mounting rubbers (33.55.2.225.890) back in 2007 as it bolts straight onto the existing mounting with the existing mounting brackets (33.55.1.129.195). I have retrofitted the M5 rear anti-roll bar to all three Eta's before the rear anti-roll bar went NLA a couple of years ago. Received this parcel from Felipe in Spain back in early 2020: Which was well packaged: And contained a 6 litre spare fuel can: Also have a set of first aid kit mounting hardware: and First Aid Kit: To mount in the trunk of the Bronzitbeige Eta in due course: I have been collecting some stuff for the Bronzitbeige Eta for four years now and stashing it away for when it returns from Classic bahnstormers. I will take some more photographs and post them up. This will help me put together a "things to do" list for latter. Ordnator 433 Report post Posted February 6 (edited) Had a wee rummage around and photographed some other E28 stuff I am collecting (hoarding) for the Bronzitbeige Eta: Glass moon roof: Also have the mounting plate, electric motor, gearbox, wiring loom, switches, interior sun shade and mounting hardware to conduct a full manual to electrical conversion. Will all require a good clean up and re-paint before installation. Interior Map light rear view mirror and wiring loom: Also acquired a pair of E23 chrome rear view mirrors: The intention is to do this: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FMarselsEvolutionE28BlackEagle%2Fposts%2Fhybrid-built-e12-e23-to-fit-e28-set-of-brand-new-original-bmw-mirrors-electric-%EF%B8%8F%2F2204709966267495%2F&psig=AOvVaw0K820gSVtB8Oy2NGtz3ckH&ust=1612582110305000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCPDqhMvm0e4CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAX Looking for some E12 chrome mirror bases now.
