'Old' cars that still look fresh

Recommended Posts

What motors from the 90s or early 2000s still look good today?

Saw a V70 R today and thought how good it looked.

Facelift E39s still hold their own.

Mk1 Seat Leon Cupra R still looks the biz as well.

Rover 800 Vitesse/Sterling, still look good and if they've survived until now they should have another couple of months left in them!

i still think a nice specc'd Vectra c is a good looking sleek car !

Yep I agree there. The SRi or Elite with all the extras is a nice car to drive, albeit boring. Had an elite myself.

Personally, I think the 2002/2003 bug eyed polo still looks newish. Also the newer shape Hyundais don't seem to age.

I think the Pug 406 Coupe still looks quite fresh, not many to be seen on the roads but I still miss looking back at mine, some 10 years later!

I don't even know what the c bit is but the vectra bit I do. C for crap seems a bit obvious but is accurate lol.

Vectra C, 2002 onwards. Facelifted in 2005, much nicer looking then.

Had 2, one black one in grey. Not bad cars, But yes very boring to drive.

You've not driven one lately have you?

Had to collect one for my father in law a couple of years back. It was an s plate and ghastly to drive. Compared to an e39 it's a horrid thing.

I agree with P3tchy on the vectra front to be honest, and I'm sure recognise the name from the vectra forum. I loved mine whilst I had it and still think a well looked after one looks good but rarely see them these days. Though mine was maybe a wee bit boy racery for you guys on here.

I saw one the other day and thought to myself how good it still looked. I know somebody that bought one new then sold it about 5 years ago...........he instantly regretted the sale and still does.
