help with lci conversion resistor

Recommended Posts

Help with lci resitor.

Ok i have pre wired my plugs for my lci halogen conversion.

However i need a bit of help with the resistor.

I have the one from hids direct. Has 4 wires two in and two out.

Do i conect no4 and no5 terminal and then the other two to splice into the earth wire?

Please help !

Bump for this - I have the same issue.

I assume that two wires will have the resistor between them and the other two will just be to earth?

So bascially you should only need the two wires with teh reisitor in and can ignore the other two?

Might dig out my multimeter and see if that is the case.

Ok i done this on sat ...

What you need to do is just connect the one angel input to one wire and the other to the eart going to the headlight.

Then tape the other 2 wires up and thats it ... easy peasey!

Both on the same side of the resistor. So one white to angel eye feed and black to earth.

So going from this diagramme:

White to 5 and black to 7 (on LHS plugs)?

When you say 'tape up' do you mean connect them together and tape up or independently insulate them and tape up?

From what I can see 5 on the 'LCI without Xenon' (ie RHS plug) has no pin.
