I expect the Volvo will be more suited to winter in Norway! Will your E39 sell easily, do you think? Maybe i'm not totally gone mate. Have to take that up with duncan first. And yes the Volvo is more suited for the Norwegian winter. How much I will get for the bimmer Im not sure. But yesterday I put an ad out so we have to wait and see. Will tell you how much I got for the car. If anyone wont it then. We have to see. I still work on my Saab. And it is now the most complete 9-5 in it`s class world wide. This is the latest pictures. Not bad when I only have an toolbox and work from an communal garage in condominium. Tha car have now nerly 300 hp and 440 nm on the wheels. But I have plan this coming winter to build me a hybrid engine. With T7 top and T5 block with bigger turbo and so on. So maybe 400 hp to 500 hp We have to see. We like all cars you know Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk No problem Mr. duncan I can gladly do that. But you have to tell me how much of pictures I can have here. Like all the job`s I do to the Volvo. Or only finish photos. As you know me I put out a lot of pictures. Will also inform around the pictures. So what do you think? Loadmaster 771 Report post Posted August 27 Your Saab looks superb, really does. Keep us updated on both that and the Volvo. I guess the Saab is kept for sunny dry days and the Volvo will be the workhorse?
Positiv 161 Report post Posted August 28 (edited) Thank`s mate. And yes it is as you say I only use this car on sunny dry days. After put so much effort to this car I like to keep the car nice looking. Yes I like to keep you updated. But since this is a Bmw forum. I do not know how much I can lay out with pictures. I ask duncan but he do not respond back to me. Here you can see some of the reasons why I only use the car on dry summer days. Positiv 161 Report post Posted October 21 (edited) Got me an subwoofer and a amplifier. But had to make them more nice looking. Then have I overhauled a caliper and refurbished the wheel compartment. And ad some led lights. and carbon film. Edited October 21 by Positiv 2 Mashmanu and Ordnator reacted to this
Positiv 161 Report post Posted October 22 (edited) Then have I park the Saab for the winter. Going to miss him but what can I do. And he keep up the nice looking. No change since I paint him four years ago. Last wash for the season that I did today. And some pictures that I also took today. And then sleep well. Loadmaster 771 Report post Posted October 23 Great looking Saab there Bent. No temptations for an old BMW again?
Positiv 161 Report post Posted October 24 Thank`s mate. And yes I have not given up to buy a E39 again. But there is hard to find a 540IA in Norway. There are some few Station Wagon here but I do not want that. I like to get a sedan so then I have to look into Sweden. So I follow a site there (Blocket.se) who selling private cars. So we have to see what I will find there.

Positiv 161 Report post Posted October 30 (edited) Sorry for late response, mate. It was also start to come back some rust around. So it was better to sell it now then wait longer and then loose more money. I also think that the 170 hp was not enough. Last June the Department of communications here in Norway come up with new import rules that we now only have to pay 25% tax on cars more then 20 years old we buy from abroad. And not as before we also had to pay extra import fees. And since cars from Sweden are normally much cheaper than here in Norway. I look for an 540 from over there. So I look daily on Blocket.se if I can find one that I can fix up for an good price. Edited October 30 by Positiv 1 Loadmaster reacted to this
