HI all need a little help please - 11plate X5 and the brake pads replace warning every time I start is annoying me! I have shorted out both the front and rear sensor connectors and reset the dash - so both front and rear are now showing green in the vehicle system menu - but I still get the "replace brake pads" warning on every start up! is there another place or something else I can do to stop it - my brake pads and discs have thousands of miles left in them - such a pain in the ass having the warning and pressing ok every time thanks1
Hi all Was wondering if my 2012 F10 520d efficient dynamics model, which does NOT seem to have an idrive oil level checking option (damn shame) but does have a physical dipstick (awkwardly placed I must say!), will warn me if the oil level ever gets critically low? I always carry a 1L bottle in the boot for emergency use, but slightly paranoid that it might go below safe levels and not alert me using fault codes on the screen? Should I be worried? Is there a safety warning mechanism built into these cars so oil cannot go so low/empty that you would hurt the engine?
Can anyone help please? In the mornings I keep getting the message 'high rate of battery discharge' on my 2005 M5. When I bought the car the guy had had an Ipod adapter fitted. Does anyone suspect that this may be causing the problem? It always looks active when the car is even off. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Thanks, Abi
