Hello Guys, I completed the manual swap by doing all the electronical things (flashing manual DDE Software etc), and fitting a manual E-gaspedal. Everything works fine, however in lower rpms 1500-2100 approximately if i go full throttle the car gets some boost and instantly goes off power again even showing on the current consumption dial, then spools up again and loses power again, all until 2150 RPM where everything is fine afterwards and all the power is here. Does anybody have an idea? BR Michael

I've had a problem with my airbag light (diagnostics say a passenger airbag circuit short to earth fault) which having substituted a known good airbag and checked the wiring/plugs etc seems to me to be a likely ECU problem... and that's the final step on the diagnostic fault guidance too. Today it is at the local BMW dealers for the drivers airbag recall work and I've asked them to spend a max 1hr extra labour to double check my findings... then advise and quote. Unless they find something daft I've missed no doubt they will be quoting some massive price to change the ECU which I will decline and do myself. Reading around this and other forums it seems if you get the exact same airbag ECU then you can fit it, clear the fault codes and it will not need coding which I guess I might be able to do but would rather not. Image shows my ECU so could someone tell me which of the 7 number sequences I need to match up to get one that is operationally the same?

Bosch automatic gearbox ECU (part number 0 260 002 067) fits BMW e32 e34?
Aper posted a topic in Parts & Breakers
For sale is an automatic gearbox ECU removed from my 1990 e32 735i. Fully working order, removed at 82.000 miles, when I converted my 7 series to a manual. I'm not sure what other cars it would fit, but should be compatible with M30 engined cars and possibly others as well, but I'm not able to find any info on this. Price is £25 including P&P or collection in person from New Milton Hampshire at a discounted price. Please also check my other items for sale, as I'm having a garage clear out.- 1 reply

Hi, I'll start from the beginning, I got an app on my android phone called "Torque" as I wanted to monitor life date from my car,for that I needed a Bluetooth Adapter which I got from ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e7373b805 but it couldn't connect to the ECU so I got similar adapters from ebay but they also didn't work......my car does have the OBD2 port under the right side of the steering wheel but why does it not work???? What could help me to use the Torque app on my car???? Thank You

Engine lost power, would not respond to accelerator, and came to an idle. Stalled, and would not restart. AA diagnosed head gasket with no oil in water, no water in the oil, no overheating. Mechanic diagnosed the diesel injection fuel pump, cos he knows I've been using a veg oil / diesel / petrol mix for the last 25,000 miles. The pump seals are not leaking. Fitted second-hand fuel pump, Boscg 0 406 460 995, identical to remoived pump: same problem, car won't start. White smoke at exhaust so we're getting unburnt fuel. Took off injectores, had them pressure tested. They're good. Refitted the injectors. After an hour of turning it over the car will reluctantly fire for two seconds, tapping accelerator will raise revs to 2300, then immediately engine stalls. Will not restart. Diagnostics reveal two Engine codes: Water coolant level sensor inoperative Air temperature sensor inoperative Baffled... any ideas?
