  1. Been getting an intermittent fault with the Active Cruise Control for a while now but became much more frequent in the last few weeks. (Drove through a monstrous down pour last September on the motorway that would have seen Noah getting the hammer and nails out...). Most of the time stopping, locking and unlocking the car would fix it and the occasional clear of an ACC Sensor code would be needed with the Foxwell tool. Found a great tip (on another forum) using a hooked pick or hose remover to unpick the tabs from the front. The photos will hopefully help others line up their tool to get at the tabs. You only need to get the top 4 tabs then the whole grill will come off, you can’t access the bottom tabs from the front. Cleaned the front of the radar sensor and took off the plug to find quite a bit of corrosion on 2 of the pins as well as a bit of dampness inside the socket on the sensor. (I’ll give the inside of the plug and socket a blast with some electrical contact cleaner later) Scraped the pins, picked out the green corrosion from the plug and dried the dampness. ACC seems to be back in action when called on but as always I won’t trust an intermittent fault until I’ve driven it for a week or two (hope it’s ok as a new system is a fortune!)
