    change from 245 45 17 to 225 50 17

I’ll probably buy non run flats as the rides are hard with the RFTs. Thank you for the replies.
  2. HI all, My 2008 520d currently has 245 45 17 run flat tyres on them that I would need to replace in a month or two as they are almost down to 2.5mm and 2 tyres have worn edges (MOT). I have seen that the 225 50 17 tyres are cheaper, and considering I plan to sell the car before the ULEZ extension next year, would it be fine to swap? Stay safe.

Exhaust pressure sensor and dpf fault

Thanks Syemondo. At least I do not have to worry about DPF.

Exhaust pressure sensor and dpf fault

Hi. I can feel gases coming out from the exhaust. I plugged my Foxwell and read the exhaust backpressure when I took the car for a spin for around 50miles. At idle the car is reading 2-4mb, same as 1000-1500rpm. However when I am at 2000rpm, its constantly 0mb. I checked again, that perhaps the pipe has been disconnected but its not. Anyway, I am just curious because my Foxwell is showing car has regenerated. Also, I have never seen the dpf warning light as well.

Exhaust pressure sensor and dpf fault

I honestly don’t know. To be fair, the car runs fine and I never have problem with it in my 8 months of ownership and I have done 8000 miles on it so far. The only reason I brought this up was I normally scan my car every week for any codes. Now these 2 codes have been there since I bought the car together with the auc sensor and 9cc5 code which is beyond me. I just wanted the car to last me until Mr Khan implements the ULEZ October 2021.

Exhaust pressure sensor and dpf fault

The pipe is full of soot. It must have been gutted then. Anyway I boughta new oem exhaust backpressure sensor, installed it today and it’s the same, showing signal fault. At least I have an answer! Thank you.

Exhaust pressure sensor and dpf fault

It’s an LCI 2008 520d. I bought the car 7 months ago and so far, everything is fine. Prior to me buying it, glow plugs, been decoked and both thermostats had been changed by BMW specialist (prev owner have been using same garage for last 4 years). It’s showing around 90-95 degrees and is regenerating every 400-500kms, so does it mean the dpf was not gutted? Thanks for the link. I checked the bonnet and I can see the pipe is connected to the sensor.
  8. Hi, My car is throwing a 4C5E DPF fault and 4CF3 exhaust backpressure sensor fault. However when I plugged into my Foxwell and checked the dpf, it regenerated xxxxkms ago. I went for a drive today and on motorway back pressure sensor is reading 0-2mb. Is there a fault to this sensor, as it was changed 2 years ago? Can also someone point out to me the location, and whether it’s easy to change? Many thanks.

    Obd interface

I have the NT510 with the BMW software on it, cost me £100 3 months ago from Ebay. It comes with a lifetime update and I do not need a laptop with me.

    447B- Oxygen sensor fault

Thank you so much. So it can be done as DIY? I have seen a Bosch and NTK lambda sensors, does it matter which one I choose? As for the AUC, can I clean the sensor or do I have to replace with a new one?

    447B- Oxygen sensor fault

Hi, I am a new owner to a 2008 E60 520d. I have bought a Foxwell NT510 and it showed a 447B fault code - oxygen sensor not present. I also have an AUC sensor fault code. Can you let me know where are these sensors located and whether they are easy to replace? Many thanks.
  15. Hi, Can i have a quote for an oxygen and AUC sensor please? Car reg: RE58 VFH Thank you.
