    Thank you everyone!

    Yeah, I've got quite bad osteoarthritis in both shoulder's & as a engineer since 16 I use my arms/shoulders quite a lot every day. It would appear that I have strained/pulled muscles in my arm. The main problem is I work on my own quite a lot & after goggling left arm pain, I & the hospital couldn't take any risks. Thankfully apart from the obvious I'm ok, but my day's of fixing/working on car's are numbered. Take care mate & I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    Sorry to hear that mate, I was in hospital yesterday having a E.C.G ect after having pains in my left arm & feeling odd. Fortunately for me I'm ok but like you say it's worrying & I'm only 49.

    I believe so to correct "sensor drif' but I've not done it.

    Mine did this but I did have a ground to underbody interface It had bent the hanger at the side of the gearbox so it was resting against the exhaust. I simply removed it & bent it back straight. Now all good I'd suggest getting the car up in the air & running the engine so you can be underneath it while you get someone to repeat what you did, while going up & down the system looking / listening for the noise.

    Mine sits at exactly the same height with the Arnott air springs as the oe BMW one's. You can correct or alter the ride height with ISTA.

    Arrnot for me, that's what I have & am very happy with them about half the price of BMW. Just don't use Aerosus, crap & terrible company to deal with.
  10. The bushes can be replaced (pressed in) but usually you replace the arm because the ball joint won't be far behind.

    Yeah 07 is LCI & 525 is a 3.0 lump without swirl flaps, but you found that out
