    F10 vibration

If the fronts are new I would get the wheel balance checked. Sometimes cheap tyres are not perfectly made and that can throw the balancing out a bit. Had it on an older Vauxhall, took a while to run it earth. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    Carbon Black

I suspect to the disgust of many on here who actually know how to look after paint I used and single bucket and sponge. Dried it using a microfibre cloth and stood back to admire [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

So when it's clean it's beautiful, just doesn't stay that way for long. Beginning to doubt the wisdom of my colour choice.... Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Good news at least. Other than the link I found is there any other reason anyone else has found causing this 801222 error? Need to get the AC checked anyway to make sure it's working as it should but that should be straightforward. So am I right in saying that the error I have can be there with no real detriment to the car? Only issue I seem to have (cold air not withstanding) is the inability to code the ventilation ecu in Bimmercode as per the start of this thread. I was thinking if I had never bought the obd reader I would then never have known about the fault and would have been driving my car happy as a pig in muck. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Thanks Matthew, don't look too hard to get at. Selling dealer wants a look at her so that's to come. Cleared the fault using BTool Lite this morning and then I ran the car today with the AC off - just fresh air on Auto - and checked the fault this evening. It's back. Surely there should have been no compressor load so now I'm confused again. Does anyone know if this fault occurs as information only or does it actually stop the compressor until its reset.? AC Error on Bimmercode

Found this. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ebimmerfest%2Ecom%2Fforums%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D846204&share_tid=846204&share_fid=91645&share_type=t It's not quite a 520d but appears to be similar issue wise. Anyone know where I find the aux belts and associated tensioners on an N47t? Might be worth a look. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Only error I see coming up is the AC one. That said I am using the 'lite' version of the app so maybe it's not picking them all up or maybe it's just not resetting it properly. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Ok, felt brave and cleared the error. Went back to Bimmercode and the error was still in place as per my first post on the thread. Back to B-Tool and the 801222 is back. I think the lite version should be able to clear codes looking at the description on the app store so now not sure if I have an underlying issue or not. Waiting on dealer coming back to me later on as well. Do you ever wish you'd never looked at something???!? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Ok, used the B-Tool Lite version and got the attached pic. Error code is 801222 which as far as I can tell is a "Shutdown due to lack of DME release compressor". Sounds like the error Matthew was talking about above. Opinions on whether I am safe enough to clear the error without causing any damage? If we think so I'll get the full version of the app and go for it. SJJ84, good find on that app, looks good. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Yip, just the basic system in her but thanks for the thought. Should have mentioned its a 2012 520d MSport with basic AC at the start of the thread. I have played a little more this evening and I am slowly convincing myself that the unit is just blowing outside air rather than chilled air, it is hard to tell as it does blow it well and it's cool here. A phone call tomorrow and I'll let you know what the outcome is when I get it sorted. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Thanks, I'll call them tomorrow. It's the codes I want cleared to make sure there is nothing underlying with the car I have bought. AC system seems to be working fine, lower the temp setting and I get cold air with increased fan speed for a bit until the cabin cools. That said it's hardly been hot weather since I have had the car so possibly it's just firing in fresh air. I have seen a reasonable amount about the compressors on these cars so it might be worth getting a check done. I can have them look at the system on the basis it could be colder air and suggest they make sure the system codes are clear at the same time. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

I am just outside of Belfast so not that handy!! Appreciate the offer though. I'll keep digging but may have to bite the bullet and get a local independent to have a scan through. Other thought that occurs is that I have only had the car just over two weeks, I might chance my arm with the selling dealer (not a BMW guy) and see if he has someone that can diagnose and clear these. Thanks for taking the time Matthew. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Thanks Matthew. As you say it's impossible to actually tell what the error is with bimmercode. I want to dig at it a bit but don't have an iPhone to let me use Bimmerlink or a personal laptop to use Windows software. I can't see an app on Android that goes beyond the engine control unit for diagnostics so that's not a huge amount of help either. As I say the AC is working fine so not overly concerned but I would like to find out what's going on without relying on others. Would the ISTA software work through a vgate icar pro WiFi dongle if I could borrow a laptop and get my hands on the software? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    AC Error on Bimmercode

Folks, I took the plunge and got Bimmercode for Android. Worked really well for what I wanted to do; Start Stop now off, Angel eyes without dipped beam for drls on halogen units, Sports dails added to iDrive. Digital speedo on dash. The AC however wasn't accessible as per the picture, when you click that it gives a blank screen with the same error in the middle of the screen. Is there an Android app that'll let me clear or diagnose the fault behind this. Bimmercode obviously only codes so no joy with it. For what it's worth the AC in the car seems to work perfectly. Thanks Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
