    Any help with possible causes?

Think the EGR has been sticking. DPF is being cleaned and re fitted. As for the warranty, the guy isn't really interested. Reckons the DPF is a wear and tear item and not his problem! I could chase it but it will just end up in a load of arguing and me not having a car. Sooner get it done myself and know it's done properly and not bodged. It's no worse in the manifold than my E320cdi was when I stripped and replaced the EGR, cooler and manifold. Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Any help with possible causes?

Well, it seems the DPF is OK, but the manifold and EGR are not! DTC fault also sorted. Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Any help with possible causes?

The manufacture date on the pump from the scan was 2007, car is a 2008 so it has been replaced. Dealer I had it off has disappeared, not answering calls or messages and the website has gone. Just want to get it sorted now. Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Any help with possible causes?

Burton on Trent, the diagnostic guy I used was good and said he could do more but without getting to the bottom of the existing faults he didn't want to cost me money. Do you know anyone in my area who could have a look? Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk
  5. Had the car scanned properly today and got the attached faults. Is it possible to use INPA or DIS to recalibrate the relavant sensor? Also, the DPF issue, it said it had done a re-gen 118km ago and had no mileage remaining, however when it was running it was showing zero back pressure on the live data. Is it possible the DPF has been removed or gutted? Saw a feed somewhere about just telling the car the DPF has been replaced using DIS and all being well as the DPF s are good for many more miles than BMW reckon. Any advice much appreciated. DTC fault.

Hi, new to using INPA etc. Have run it today and all woks ok, cleared EGR fault, SOS call fault, however, it won't connect to the DTC ecu. It says it finds DTC60-PP not just DTC60. It has supposedly had an ABS ecu replaced but not sure exactly what's going on! Any ideas please? Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Using switched diagnostic cable

Will be using it on an E60 Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk
  8. Hi, got the cable and software. What position does the switch need to be in? With hindsight I should have got it from Cableshack but it's a bit late now! Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Software download

Anybody got a link to download this software? Had it off Ebay and the Win/rar files won't load off the discs. Seller is meant to be sending some replacement discs but not sure he will! Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Dtc and brake warning lights.

Well, I have spoken to the dealer again as I'm convinced it's the battery failing. Don't want to be beaten by this car, the w210 mercedes it's replacing didn't beat me and this won't either! It also seems it's had an hid conversation that's been removed. It's a shame as it drives really well and I just wish he could have been more honest in the advert. Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Dtc and brake warning lights.

Well, unfortunately I think this car may be a duffer. Took it on a 120 mile run today. It drives well, but obviously it has the already mentioned warning lights. 20 miles in the tyre pressure warning came on. Stopped checked the pressures and found them all over inflated. Reset and all OK. 60 moles in and the engine management light comes on. Still drives fine and no obvious problem. Stop at the shops on the way home and leave the Mrs in the car with the radio on. She then says the radio went off after 1 min and the battery warning came on! I've suggested to the dealer I am happy to get Green Flag out to diagnose the fault/ faults but he's reluctant. He's still insistent it can be sorted easily. Any opinions other than just hand it back? Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk

    Dtc and brake warning lights.

He's happy to sort it out in fairness to him. Only reason I ask about the battery is I know it needed jumping when I went to view it. No lights at the time. Lights go out when you restart and come on again. It's not been used for a little while. It's booked in for next week and he's giving me a courtesy car. Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk
  15. Hi, got these ights on. Only just got the car as well! Is it possible that a low battery could cause this or as the dealer has told me, the ABS pump needs coding as it's been replaced? New to these so learning already! Sent from my SM-T365 using Tapatalk
