    E61 Tailgate window opening.

Hinges m8 it should stay up. Spoiler off to access them and find the one with a broken spring.

    E39 Parcel shelf Colour

I dumped 2 cans of Autoglym black dye on my E36 shelf, it did nothing so I ended up using the Ed China method and used car spray paint. It looked great but was rough as and used to pull the fibres out the window cloth so I had to cover it with paper before cleaning the back window!

    Glow plugs again...

If a BMW part under warranty fails you have to take the car in where they diagnose and replace the part, just be sure it is faulty as they issue the £150 threat if it isn't that. It doesn't matter if you fitted the part either but sometimes they want the reg or vin on the invoice but most places (Cotswold or Rybrook) are more than happy to issue a new invoice with said reg on.
  4. Don't you have a decent plugin charger that you know works? It took me all or 5 minutes to open up a TomTom one and turn it into a hardwired one.

    Wheel bearing tool

The pic makes it seem small, in reality it's bloody huge.

    Wheel bearing tool

Same as what I have, it does the job well but I tie some rope to the spring just in case.

Martin is active on the 5 series groups as well and comes well recommended, he uses a full flush machine rather than the drop and refill guys that can't get the TC oil out.

    Cannot figure out issue

FFS, they are a proper cowboy outfit, maybe you should just show them this and tell them to do their job properly! The battery registration is to do with the intelligent battery system and has nothing to do with the type of battery or the start stop system on BMW/Mini's that do have it. This is from ISTA in case they ask, the very same software used at the main dealers just to remove any doubt or should I say further bullshit from them. Can you also name and shame so no one else mistakenly uses them?

    E60/E61 Parts

Thanks but I will pass, I don't need the parts but I'm always willing to store a bargain when it comes along. Good luck with the sale
  13. Have you thought about doing it the other way and retrofitting the LM2 with the LCI wiring harness adapter thingys from BMW? I have just messaged the guy I got my wheels off to see if he still has the light set and LM2 for sale. *edit, he sold them @Dotcom1970 has the LM2 for sale.
