    e39 champagne edition II

To be honest apart from a new front bumper and some work on the engine no not really, want to keep it as stock as possible. Like I said not had it long and as much as I love it I am truly considering buying an M5 which I have been toying with for a few years but now in a position where I could get one as a daily runner so my head is in a spin ha ha ha

I agree, it's whole design stance and look from any angle just looks right. I am a true BMW guy at heart through and through so mods like splitters and eyebrows does not appeal to me. I believe BMW got this right from th very start and apart from a good valet, and a regular service it needs nothing else

A little but more for my peace of mind, much more noticeable on a diesel with out a shadow of a doubt. From the minute you get in it you can tell instantly

Thanks, been a busy boy since I have had it to be honest but just makes the car more worth while knowing I have been fixing it

    BMW e39 champagne edition 2

Hi, sorry only just replied wouldn't let me sign in. I know what you mean I have changed my BMW so many times and always go back to the e39. Just can't get enough of them nothing else compares in my opinion. I haven't had it that long but Since purchasing the light trims have gone. full terraclean done, new bushes, tyres, wheel bearings, new keys as the original never worked, as it is also LPG given that a service. Full service for the car, 12 months ticket added, new folding mirror as the drivers side was broken. I have also fixed the dreaded pixel problem on the dash as that just annoyed me that it wasn't right. Took me around 3 hours as I have done this before but still have to be extremely careful. Next on the list is a new front bumper as this one has a small split just under the splitter which is doing my head in. So that will be changed next. Then Vanos seals in the spring as I know that will make a hell of a difference never loved working on a car so much as I do these cars they are so easy to work on

Hi, I'm new to the forum, I have owned 3 BMW e39s and I am now currently the owner of a champagne edition 2. I have read many posts and took lots of advice from here. Just wanted to say hi to all and look forward to continuing reading and posting new posts that could help people out. Jamie
