Right iv changed the EGR thermostat and put a new thermostat in the hose with only a 2 mm hole today but still only getting 84 degrees i put a new BMW main thermostat on last week is there any possibility that it could be a faulty thermostat from BMW ? Plz help I'm going out of my nut over this
  11. Beru is what they used in the factory mate so only use beru or you will probably end up having to do it twice lol europarts do the beru controller for £62.50+vat and they normally have them in stock
  12. I had the same problem with my 535d 1234and6 showing as faults I replaced my controller yesterday and it was perfect on start up at 1am today when I was going to work and perfect when I started it to come home after fitting the controller I cleared all the fault codes my codes was plugs 12346 and the smooth running fault I just plugged it in when I got home and there are now no fault codes at all so the new controller has sorted all the problems out that are the same as what you are getting if I was you I would start with just the controller as it only takes about 20min to fit and you don't need to pull the inlet off
  13. Yea I c that iv just done it it only took about 20min but if I didn't watch this I would never of known how to get in there lol
