    Firmware V6.02-7058 and User Guide

Hello Richard, is it possible to automatically adjust the height level of the air suspension (and maybe set it to low level) of X5 E53 when turning off the engine for better exiting comfort? Setting it back to normal level by intravee is not necessary since this is done automatically by the car when driving faster than 35 kph. Thanks in advance! Sebastian

I don't want to drive recklessly. I want to make myself felt by all available means if necessary. So I would be happy if the mentioned option would be a solution.

Richard could you enable "flash to pass" even when the dip beams are switched on? There are situations here in germany where you travel with 200+ km/h on the autobahn and are happy to flash as many lights a possible when someone is suddenly moving over only 100 m in front of you with only 100 km/h. In my '03 E39 flash to pass only works when dips are switched off.

Hello Richard, in case you are going to activate rear lights in combination with DRL (which I would appreciate) I would recommend to not activate illumination of the instrument cluster. This is often the case at new cars. They have illumination of the instrument cluster when switching ignition on or running the engine. Normally the instrument cluster is only illuminated when the low beam is switched on. So people might think that low beam is switched on because the cluster is illuminated. They forget about it being illuminated all the time. This leads to people driving with their DRL instead of low beam at night. I have seen it far too often. Let's not support this dangerous issue.

Hi Richard, I have seen the document about PXA supplement on the first page of this thread. It's about a PXA-H100 emulating the DSP menu in 16:9 screen. The features it comes with are very interesting. Special presets, subwoofer control, time correction f.e. Did I understand the manual correctly, that the PXA will only work if my E39 is not equipped with DSP? Or is it possible for me to use the PXA-H100 in my E39 that has the individual DSP sound system (also known as M-sound system, NOT the normal DSP!). It think this would be a nice feature to make the best out of the individual DSP.

Richard, you have already applied daytime running lights in the intravee menu. The angel eyes are constantly switched on when ignition is in position 2, independent from the position of the light switch. Thanks a lot for this feature If you code your LCM with NCSExpert or similar programs, the E39 supports another type of DRL ex factory. The high beams are being dimmed down to 30% brightness as long as the ignition is on and the light switch is in position zero. It looks like this: Angel eyes are switched off, high beams dimmed down to 30% brightness are switched on. Maybe you can add a feature that allows us to choose between angel eyes and dimmed high beams as daytime running lights? Thanks in advance, Sebastian

I've updated to the latest firmware recently. The warning that appears when you accelerate too much when the engine is cold is a very nice new feature. As well as the engine overheat chime. Thanks a lot for that Maybe you can add a new feature for the light control? I would rejoice over flashing high beams. Here are two examples: (without the strobos of course, this is rubbish) I would be glad if you could add this or a similar feature to your next firmware version
  8. 09/2002 530dA Touring same problem. Does not happen very often, but once in a while. Intravee with latest firmware on 16:9 Navigation MKIV, Siemens cordless telephone, no DSP, no HiFi. I just have ordered an iBus interface in order to install a Raspberry Pi. Maybe I can use it for logging the iBus.
