    Correct inlet manifold advise.

The inlet needs to come off to fix an air leak and the the an leak on the throttle housing so that's coming off. The car is an 02 535i it's running the standard inlet manifold. I'm needing more air to get the fuelling corrected. What is the correct year on 540 or 7 series that has the larger inlet trunks. I know the X5 4.6 has the trumpets which could have a negative effect so I'm staying clear. Thanks for the advise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rim and tire size with 30mm lower

Also mate, put M5 wheel bearings in. They'll need a bit of work to the hub on a non M5 car to fit. I don't remembering swearing too much. The big rims will wear out the standard bearings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In past experience 20's on e39 ruin the ride and tram line plenty. Originally running an M5 set up then on air. The ride wasn't great on both set up. The cars currently on 19's with a good amount of stretch and ride is fine. The 20's are currently on a 7 series and the ride is fine on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For a bag of sand I would not bothered about history. A couple of hundred to fix the bumper. Some one will have a nice motor for not a lot of cash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    535iA Engine Service

It only slight, may as well do it. Just to make sure it doesn't get on coil packs. A set of plugs wouldn't go a miss either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The heated gear lever on my old 7 Series, the heated steering wheel though I miss in my 5 Series Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's quiet as a mouse even from cold. I've always used Castrol I always change it one a year the car only does about 8k year, it's just started weeping a bit from the Rocker Cover, I don't want it to get into plugs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi. The car is just about getting to 100K, I'm replacing the Oil breather valve at the rear of the inlet it's just started making a Howling noise. I'm doing the rocker gaskets to be on the safe side too, the cooling system exploded last year so that's ok for a bit. How do you test the cam chain tension?Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    E39 Door Mirror Options

I'm working my onto the car body work now the mechanics are done. The cars fitted with M5 none folding electric auto dip mirrors, are there any other door mirrors from the BMW range that fit without too much messing around. It's a factory M5 lookalike from new including interior leather under dash, seats minus clocks. The mirrors are coming off anyway to repaint. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Denson Media Bridges

Cheers Dennis I'll take a look at the others. I got the name of the product mixed up this is what I've looked at DENSION GATEWAY 500. There's a small module to add and it will stream video. It's not cheep but I've no intention of selling the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has anyone experience of using these. I fitted a digital TV tuner to my M5 when I sold it. This will be going on daily driver M535ia e39. Just wanting to know if the audio video streaming is good and also the hands free side of things. The OE Motorola is showing it age now. I can only find that brand so if people out there know of any other let me know. All the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
