  1. PIPER FOR PM! These are a the sorts of things us 'normal' people can see will solve the problems (not just when we are down the pub either)...but the eaton educated silverware sucking tosspots in parliament cannot! And frankly never will which in conclusion means we are all royally F**ked.

    BMW E30 320i / 325i - Are these a good buy?

Not really relevant to the question but! It might only be a 1.8 4 pot but it can certainly make an e30 shift! JAM172 has one in his touring and it flys! I had a shock in the e39 when he Appeared in the rear view mirror at quite a pace!
  6. Does help that its an M5 backside!

3 O'clock on a Friday, silly was the only option. I dont think you should get rid! Use it more is the answer! You know you will regret it and end up buying another if it does go!

    So.....whats it worth then?...

I'll swap it for an 86 520i and a portion of chips!? I'd even put the interior back in it! I'm that generous.

    Trenchy24's E28 Rescue

Floor inspection time. no body mentioned it was a bitch to get the carpet and foam padding out. The foam was soaked!! Passenger Foot well. Slightly deformed, from incorrect jacking? Spotted this in the corner. Drivers Foot well (bit blurry :s) The Loud pedal base is rusty. This crack cant be good either? Might just be a deformed floor like the passenger side? After pulling all that lot out i had a poke around at the rear arches and sills. This is what i cleared from the passenger side, had the same for the drivers side. I see why the fuel tanks can have issues now. Then i started poking the rusty bits and this happened. and this on the other side. Got a bit of work to do under here i think. Sill repairs added to the rear mount repairs. The front seems to be pretty good, the sills seem solid after giving them a bit of abuse. So thats one plus, although that doesnt help with my wet foot well issue. I also think that the rear lights may be leaking. It could also be the boot seal i suppose. Either way the boot floor was wet as was the rear panel with the lights mounted in. There was also signs of water on the lights.

Got to be honest im not liking the sound of this. Its either going to be a lot of work or very expensive! Having read through Tonybmw's Resto thread im not looking forward to seeing the state of the rear sub frame mounts either

A dolphin grey door would be great! Seeing g as my o/s/r has a fecking great hole in the bottom! The carpet will be coming out ASAP, im hoping that i dont have problems like Tref. The car has been sat since Feb so im thinking/hoping it is wondscreen or sunroof which had rust in when i opened it briefly yesterday before discovering the wet floor! Not if it is the boot seal as the car is parked Boot facing downhill?! Chris

    Interior update

Is it a round Leather gear knob? If so i know a good home for that too! The console may not be needed as i believe i can take a knife to mine and cut the holes out! They are marked on the under side! Chris
