  3. Hi, erv77 I'm in Walsall in the west midlands. It's an M5 front bumper in blue although I have the Sport T bar grille from the original bumper. The rear is damaged unfortunately, but may be better than what you've got? Let me know if you're interested due to the distance and I'll get some pics and prices to you. Cheers, Gavin
  4. Hi, I have got a sliding load tray, it's grey and grotty but fully intact. LPG kit is an omvl system, it's connected to the obd port to adjust itself etc. It's a doughnut tank. Do you know if the loom is the entire engine loom or are the injectors a separate section? Cheers, Gavin
  5. Hi, I think all V8s have it... Certainly the B10 has and a couple of 3.5 that I've worked on did too. My 6 pot of the same age doesn't.

    Lorry shunt

Hi, Yes there is a fine for it and last year it went up from £60 to £100. Problem is the Police aren't out there nicking them and the other inconsiderate/dangerous drivers in their hundreds and that's why the driving standards are so poor... Cheers, Gavin

    Coilover Question

Hi, Could be a spring going soft. That could explain your strange feel from the back as one side will squat more than the other when accelerating. Cheers, Gavin

    Wiring Kenwood EQ

Hi, I'd run the cables get the amp and speakers sorted first then you can always temporarily hook the Kenwood eq in and try it. I've got one in the garage and its been in a few cars and I liked it. I seems to remember running it off the blue wire so it only came on with the HU? Cheers, Gavin
  17. Hi, If it's intermittent thats the bit that makes diagnosis difficult. Repair if possible or replace the GM module is likely to be the answer. Worth checking the multiplug and wiring to rule them out first. Cheers, Gavin

    B10 v8s. How many produced

Hi, Your build number is used across all B10 V8s so it won't match your models production run. Mines 011/1 the last 1 means it's a facelift but there were no more than 4 V8 tourings built... Cheers, Gavin

Sign of a bad alternator? (UPDATED)

Hi, The plugs seen in your picture need the covers taking off the back and then dunk the housing in vinegar. Removing the cover will stop the vinegar wicking up the wiring loom. Manufacturers later changed to gold plated contacts to prevent this happening, it seems common on mafs for some reason. Cheers, Gavin

    Any Heating/Boiler Engineers?

Hi, Ok, so what's the weather compensation and is it more expensive to run that way? Cheers, Gavin

    What is this?

Hi, There's a seal plate that seals it to the timing cover. It's held on with 2 10mm headed bolts and fits over the solenoid, easy to change. Cheers, Gavin
