  1. Hello All, My 530d Touring rear doors let in water at the top. The 'felt' seals get wet when it rains. When it freezes in winter, the rear doors frozen shut. I raised this with BMW who replaced the rear door seals under warranty. They claim that updated parts were used and that it was an enormous job entailing the replacement of several rubber seals and associated parts. Alas, this did not fix the problem - my dealer was shocked and disappointed to hear this (not as much as me). I am anxious that winter is approaching and that this misery will start again. Has anybody else had this experience and did you manage to find a resolution? It is unbelievable that BMW could allow such a car to go into production with this fault. The front door seals are dry, and every other car I've ever owned was fine too!

    Replacement tyre advice

Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum and looking for some advice please. I am sure this question has been asked many times over the years, so I hope you don't think me lazy in asking for your current views and assistance! I drive a 2018 530d xDrive M-Sport Touring, with 20" wheels. The original tyres are due for replacement and are: 245/45/20 (Front) 275/30/20 (Rear) Pirelli P-Zero Run Flat. The combination of M-Sport, 20" wheels and Run Flat tyres means that the cabin noise is horrendous, and the ride is extremely firm. I would like to explore alternatives that reduce the noise and makes the ride more supple. Has anybody here been in the same boat as me, and what would you recommend? Thank you!
  3. Greetings I have a black nappa leather centre console and armrest from an M5. Its in very good to excellent condition, it has one broken mounting bracket which makes no difference when fitted. It has the recess in the armrest for a telephone or cradle (just as the Champagne II has that recess too). I would like to have a Champagne centre console - as fitted to the Champage II. This is a long shot, but does anybody have one which they woud prefer to swap for black? I live in Hertfordshire for information. Kind regards Stephen
