    Great minds think alike.
I too bought an Aldi charger fir it’s trickle feature and I too had a stick on reg. plate on the front of my old 530d. Lovely car and I’m well jealous of your scissors lift.

Got the drivers wing on and rattle canned it for the time being. Good ol’ halfrauds. Came out ok. Might get the front end sprayed eventually. A lot of scratches on the bonnet and bumper. And it looks like the passenger wing is in need of replacing too.

also rust bubbles around boot keyhole.

plans are to get it back to looking like a fresh black cruiser.
not sure if I’ll bother with Msport bumpers or not. It’s been done to death. Maybe. We’ll see. Don’t want to spend too much money on it.

    Very very rare.
    I have it though.

Raymond is correct. Cubic or sometimes called technical graphite was on common as Muck low spec., non sport cars for years.
    But then it got desirable.

SplitBusVanatic got a reaction from NuckingFuts in E39 M5 Extended Caramel Heritage Leather, complete
Due to multiple pm’s about this. I’ve Normal spec m5 caramel heritage leather interior here. Non split folding. Chrome rings around speaker grilles on the two tone door cards. Not full leather like above. I’m gonna take a few pictures one of the days. The car is off the road now and will be broken and sold in bits. So I’ll clean up the leather and snap a few nice shots. There is no leather centre console or leather armrest. Standard e39 centre console etc. I’ll start a new thread as soon as possible. Cheers guys.

1.5 hours spent polishing the E39 staggered 19" Alpinas before putting them on the car to replace the M-Paras with winter rubber; putting them on wasn't exactly easy as as I busted two ribs about a week ago... and then managed to bust one again a week later just rolling over in bed. Five more weeks of Codiene and diclofenac and I should be back at work and pain free.
At least B10 V8 Touring 012/1 looks epic again

SplitBusVanatic reacted to Rosie in High obc retrofit for 2019
All those issues are because the IKE is an auto cluster from an E53.

You need to put the correct ZCS into the IKE.
Easiest way is to use NCS Expert and read out the ZCS from the EWS and then code the IKE.

You may then need to add OBC into the ZCS.

Or you could cheat and just activate it with NCS dummy.

Or use DIS/Progman/SSS and enter IKE and MID in retrofits (but that involves getting DIS/Progman/SSS working which is an exercise and a half in itself!)

The tamper dot (or Manipulation Point in BMW Germlish) will be lit because of the mismatch of chassis numbers stored in the Instrument Cluster (IKE or KOM) and the LCM.
This is more of an issue because the mileage won’t update to the LCM (it is the redundant storage).
There’s a big thread on Bimmerforums about it if you want more info.
    https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2387166-Can-someone-explain-exactly-what-happens-if-you-swap-clusters&highlight=Ike%20tamper
It’s quite easy to change the chassis number with Scanner 1.4.0 (Chinese copy of PA Soft).
Coding is only an issue if the car goes to a BMW Dealer and needs to be coded or programmed as the ZCS will not be correct (will still say the car has a KOM and IRIS rather than an IKE and MID).
