    E61 Headlights - Brighter please!

I can't help with the brighter lights, the factory fit bi-xenons on my car (E61 LCI) seem fine... Worth pointing out, if you have a headlight vertical adjuster on your dashboard then you DON'T have factory xenons

    DAB+ for Australia

That's ok, just giving you a "heads up" on the short comings of the Keystone chip that we experienced. Have you seen this module - https://ugreen.eu/product/ugreen-dab-board/

    DAB+ for Australia

We tested the Keystone chips some while ago and reject them for several reasons... A bit of the "deaf" side. Any change to any service on a MUX would cause audio disruption even if you were not listening to that service Would not track change to service name or "position" on the MUX without rescanning. We used the Silicon Labs Si4684 in the end IMO a much better chip... I think we used Keystone T1-L4A-8290C or T1-L4A-8250C still have some new ones here if anyone wants them...

Should my E39 have a telephone?

Worth noting that the SIM card should go in to the module at the back (over the rear wheel arch) rather than in the armrest bit.

  24. That engine certainly sounds a bit "gruff" and tappy... I have a 2010 530i @ 48,000 miles and my engine certainly sounds much smoother than that. I haven't noticed a "wollowly" back end, just a bit "skippy" especially on the cooler weather, which I put down to the Bridgestone RE050 run flats. BTW my car has an N52N !!! - work that one out? It's also an auto 6 speed, and in Sports mode takes off like a scolded cat....:-)
