That's nothing! My 1995 RangeRover has an electric motor...... It winds the window up and down Sometimes.

Rederence the pipe in the link mine is also letting by, Forge have an upgraded option for the 3 series but are developing one for E60 5 series as it needs to be slightly different. I must've spoken to then about a month ago when they said it would be available in 4 - 6 weeks. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

    e39 M5 as an investment?

Interesting thoughts, thanks guys! I should maybe clarify; I have no intention of doing this, was just surprised that someone had. I just drive mine and enjoy it!

    2017-2 finally available

Updated to 2017-2 today (NEXT Europe). As expected, hopelessly behind. A556 not on (M6-M56 link), likewise the M1 (J11a) to A5 link road. None of the small changes around here from the last couple of years are on either. Just in case anyone was getting their hopes up!

    BMWCar Mag is Changing

Has anyone noticed the format of the BMWCar magazine is changing, and in my opinion for the better, it seems to be more focused towards DIY owners, and maintenance in a similar fashion to the way Total BMW used to be run, and in doing so making it much more readable rather than just wall to wall road tests in foreign climes. Keep up the good work guys.

The battery is worth checking as sometimes as voltage drops different things suffer first. Had this happen before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

intermittent smoke and high oil usage

The CCV system could be the problem, well overdue at that mileage. Is that the M54 or N52 engine ?

OK so we are bowing to the pressure of the leccie car but where pray are we going to charge up all these cars from? The National Grid is struggling for capacity. If we all plug in our cars to charge up, where is the power coming from and how is it going to get to the charge point. Working in the Rail industry, we cannot run any more electric trains as there is no additional capacity in the National Grid to allow us to take more power. To put it simply there is no where to plug the trainset in!

    Are your wipers noisy ?

Off topic but if you have a shower at home with glass side panels, makes keeping them streak free a hell of a lot easier too. My wipers are noisy even with a new windscreen, they seem to almost hop over the glass so they chatter.

Im technically classed as a posh pikey in my spare time, buy and sell anything and everything. Last month it was fidget spinners. On that matter....I've got some brilliant tooth whitening kits and peel off face masks in at the minute, anyone want some😂 I also do headlight refurbishing and a bit of valeting in the evening. I'm also a home car trader. all that along with the day job of being an engineering manager Keeps my legs moving anyway. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

    F10 Climate control upgrade.

I am convinced there are more fans behind the dash for the two zone and even more for the four zone. Mine has four zone and I believe I have three fans for that, one on the centre console for the rear and two on the dash, left and right. I think this could be your issue given your symptoms.

    My Audi A8 ownership thread

Looks nice.. Audi never really did it for me, I've never had fond memories of any work I've had to do on them. How have you found the work you've done so far? Absinthe makes the tart grow fonder

    Remap Nightmare, now issues :-(

Sorry OP, my post is neither relevant or useful as per your request but, why oh why do people mess about with a perfectly working car, especially a 535!!!

    No longer for sale

I'm not an expert photographer; but you can see where the jack point has been welded, and some corrosion near the windscreen. It is a 17 year old car so does have stone chips and marks, although they're not bad considering the age. It is a straight car for £800.
