Short pin 7 on diagnostic plug to ground

Turn on ignition for:

3-5 seconds for oil service
12-15 seconds for inspection.

Do not just use a piece of wire, use something with some resistance in case you get it wrong.

A test lamp or multimeter (on ohms/continuity range) is what I suggest.
