Walked past it on the drive whilst looking at it in disgust.

It is going to cost me a Saturday to fix it and then its MOT next week - ball bags.

Looked at it out of the kitchen window.

Looked at it out the bedroom window and now tomorrow I can finally drive it again 2 weeks after my knee operation.

techincally, yesterday, I changed the thermostat and viscous fan on the 5, and took the Micra for a run to charge in and free the brakes (stood for a bit).  Today I ran the 5 about and then thrashed it (at erm 70) up the dual carriage way and back (about 10 miles round trip) to check temperature, which didn't get above 97c even when back in the 40 then 30 limits, so happy with the job :) New viscous fan is noisy though!!!

Also had a look at my suspension and fitted my gsm telestart module, still have my quick shift to install and give it a good wash and put my winters on tomorrow, full of cold and flu ATM though so not sure on what I'll manage to get done :(

I've just spent the evening sourcing all the missing bits from my toolkit off of eBay.

I think all these rainy days are starting to get to me!.

Fitted new 'unbreakable' adjusters to o/s headlight, drilled drainage hole under adjuster motor and discovered terrorist mouse attack (See Mice post).

Made yet another unanswered phone call to previous owner's mobile to see if he has found missing/removed sand beige rear seats ....

Removed the whole interior to the dining room, dismantled the front seats and re-coloured all the leather over four days, swore at it a lot and then re-fitted it back into the car on the only semi dry day we have had, Thursday just gone.
