Should I fit Alpina front spoiler. (Decision made)

Recommended Posts

Got an Alpina front spoiler for my E12, cars going in for a couple of paintwork jobs next week and had planned on getting the spoiler painted/fitted while it was in but I'm not 100% about it.

Car is factory standard and nicely original apart from the alloys which can be changed back to original in half an hour. Not sure if I want to mess about with it.

What do you think, keep it standard or fit the spoiler?

Do it. Makes the front look so much better. I hear you with the oem feel but it is a tasteful period upgrade

I don't know. The spoiler is a nice addition on ot's own although the wheels are always nice

I reckon go for it too!

Repro E12 Alpina rear spoilers crop-up on German eBay quite often too.  Quality sounds good!

Why. It's a period modification and makes it look much better IMO

Yeh, I agree with you to be honest but I think if I fitted it I'd start thinking "right 16 inch open lug Alpina's ,then a rear spoiler then sports seats". It's a nice standard original car, just going to keep it that way.

Plus the small matter of about a grand for the wheels etc is a factor.
