E60 535d misfire on cold start up,

Recommended Posts

Hi when I start my car from cold first thing in the morning it has a bit off a misfire if I hold the revs up to 1500 Rpm after about 30 seconds its fine, could this be glow plugs?

Also I'm going to blank the swirl flaps off was thinking just to change the glow plugs while I have it in bits what glow plugs best to use and where's best to buy them from? What's OEM spec on them Ngk? Or Beru?

Thanks

11 minutes onwards, you see him fill it up, cycle through the gears, and drain again, so it flushes oil out of the torque convertor too, and THEN he fills it up for a final time.

Had same problem and changed my glow plugs but still the same?.....tbh it only chugs for about 5 seconds so i just put up with it, as it's smooth as glass after that.
