More progress! It's starting to look like a car again!!!

Feeling much better about the progress now that its going back together and will fit the stickers to the engine bay soon.
 
Just need to refit headlights, trims and wiring then start on the engine! I bought a new camshaft at the weekend so thats ready to go in once the valves are lapped in,etc!

Stickers now fitted and started fitting some of the parts back into the engine bay. Two before and after shots...

Won't do the other side until next winter as I need to start building the head, etc so thats its on the road for April.

Lots have happened over the last few weeks. Firstly the engine is back together and running...

Once it was running, I set it down on the ground.
Sorted the CO and timing. Then fitted another autobox as reverse gear was slipping badly. Changed the filter and oil too.
 
Then it was MOT time. Passed with flying colours! Will need to adjust the tappets again as they have settled in now after a quick 10 mile drive.
 
And a pic of how she sits at the mo. Nearly ready for the summer!!!

Where did you order the pressed plates from?

They have a lot of types, styles, sizes and most importantly are proper pressed plates.
