Lol at the comments Captain Atlantis

The M5 wasn't advertised. I bought it off a older friend who had it for five and a half years. There was 63k on it when I bought it. I've put 4k on it since then, love driving it. She feels tight as a drum though, with new bmw discs and pads all round, and all bushings done, and some other bits and pieces.

//M5 is spot on all my favorites rolled into one car .

Did you by any chance by it of an Irish man?

Your e60 is up for sale then?

Welcome along, that is a lovely looking M5. Credit to you for finding such a nice example.

Thanks Maca. I drove it two years before I bought it but at that time it wasn't for sale. When it came up for sale I got a phone call and after test driving again and bringing my M5 'specialist' friend with me the deal was done.

I keep trying to think of alternative motors to replace it with but there just isn't anything that comes close lol

Welcome to the forum, your car has the perfect colour combo IMHO. But then again I am biased, and don't let people like Maca tell you LMB is the best colour, they are just too common :P . I read somewhere there were only ever 31 Imola E39 M5's in the UK.

Go for it with the exhaust mod, mine had Hayward & Scott back boxes and the noise was fantastic, i think its the thing i miss the most.

Thanks Guys. I had an issue with the horn sticking on the other day, had to remove fuse 38 to get it to stop. When I got home I found a loose screw inside the wheel when I removed the airbag. Issue sorted :D

One thing I did notice was that when fuse 38 was removed, the windows would go down with the one touch, but refused to go up with one touch, and I had to hold the button. Also intermittent wipers took over from auto rain sensing wipers. When the fuse was refitted, all working 100%. So fuse 38 does a lot lol.

Looks fantastic and the e60 is smart too even thought it's a little 520d!

Oh and welcome!
