Exactly! I think Zarnd's dates would work well.

Shall we firm up those dates into an 'official' BMW5 event?

Sounds good to me - they are the most sensible dates in September.

Any objections anyone?

Hmmm...been thinking about it and that is the weekend of the Ultimate BMW Show at Santa Pod. Also looking at going in August around the 14th i think it is as it has similar opening hours for TF.

will keep you guys posted about the deicision but September is looking unlikely for me at the moment

cheers

cheers

is the august date more convenient for most people? (the september date is the weekend of my wedding anniversary, so August would certainly be better for me  )

Do we make the forum trip in August rather than september? Any thoughts / objections?

I have now finished moving house and am soon to rescue the VX220 (which never did get SC'd in the end :() from my Dad's place. However, in a few week's I start a course at work which means 5 months at full time, all abroad. With so little time in the UK, this writes me out of any Ring fun till the Spring.

I am still interested in the idea of a Syndicate Ring car, or just buying something myself ... just not yet :(

8) What a fantastic time we all had, on and off the track, Drank and ate like it was our last oppotunity in the evenings and then hooned it round the track as much as money could afford during the day, we're all hooked and I had just about learnt the circuit as we did our last of 18 laps for the weekend.....roll on next year, and a big thanks to Tandino for organising the whole thing :D

It was a fantastic trip, we had it all out there!!,

Thhe old Scooby put in a few laps down to 8.40btg with traffic!

Funny thing is Jay has gone a bit 'Ring crazy and resorted to buying Pikey Shoguns to transport the M5 back out there on a trailer next year, hook line and sinker eh Jay!!

Ive asked the missus if i can go out there again in a couple of weeks but she told me 'you must be f**king kidding', take that as a 'no' then!!

How very dare you, just because a man invests in a Japanese Tractor doesn't mean he's hooked, much

Also did a trip to the ring this year and it has to be said its defo something you should do before you die!

Went with the E46zone guys, we also stopped off at German Race Wars, BMW World in Munich and also did loads of the passes including Stelvio! Covered 1250 miles door to door in 6 days and spent over £1k on the trip not including the ferry.

Ring is fantastic fun though, just enjoy it and dont try to push yourself too hard would be my advise!

Blimey, is that it!?! I spend £2k on a weekend to the 'Ring on its own in August with the amount of laps and fuel i did!

Awesome times though
