Recommended Posts

Good morning all. I need to fit some new brake shoes to the e60 but with so many different makes for them will any brand do for this as it’s only hand brake or still go for good brand ie Brembo, ferodo

Either dealer part or ATE, the aftermarket quality of brake pads isn't very good so stick with original or at least the same company.

Jurid is O.E. If available you can get complete kit from BMW, which is cheaper than getting the individual parts.

I changed mine 2 weeks ago and fitted Pagid shoes and pads on the back. Went really well and it holds on steep hills now without pulling the handbrake past 45degrees.

If you can, then the guys are right regarding OE.
