Adaptive drive and loss of front indicators

Recommended Posts

I was driving for 10 mins, (F11 525d 2011) then I received adaptive drive and both both indicators warning too on the instrument cluster, I checked the indicator lamps visually and both fronts had stopped working, I have noticed over the last week the passenger headlamp has started to condensate quite badly, not sue if this is connected, can anyone shed some light on this issue? Regards Rookey

Sounds like its an electrical issue, components are shutting down.  Try charging the battery as a start or see if a friendly garage will read the fault codes.

Or water is getting in and damaging circuits.  I would check for wet carpets and then read this post in full.

Oh and welcome by the way.

Thanks for your comments gents, I think the problem is linked to water/condensation in the headlamp and water enters the control units at the back of the headlamp, I am using silica bags to gradually remove the water. I may have to change the bags as they will probably get saturated.
