LED Angel Eyes random flashing

Recommended Posts

Bought these LED bulbs for the Angel Eyes, fitted OK and look great when on but the car was in the drive yesterday engine running & lights off I noticed the

new LED side light flashing intermittently. Anyone come across this ? is it a known issue ?

Voltage spikes for testing bulb integrity/resistance (cold check). LED's are so fast responding that these show unlike on regular filament bulbs.

Angel eye cold checks can only be coded out on the latest LCM IV version. Previous LCM versions don't have a codeable parameter for them.

I was going to suggest that as the OP's car is an 03, he may be able to turn off the cold check. I used Navcoder when I had my E39.

That’s normal, don’t worry about it

They won’t do it whilst you’re driving

The checks do happen whilst driving
