Looks like a mighty fine example - congratulations.

One or two went to the Le Mans Classic this year!

Oooh lovely. Primrose yellow and all edged 150bhp?

i always wanted one but could only afford the spitfire.

Enjoy!

The colour is Mimosa Yellow

Alas its a 1974 so 125 bhp enough power but its all about the sound of the straight 6

My first that was mimosa but thought no that's s dolomite colour.

My spitfire was inca yellow. Yellow suits 70s triumphs.

My uncle had a red one with some stainless pipes. Sounded great.

The triumph six is a nice engine I believe they benefit from an oil line taken from the pressure relief valve to the head with uprated spring.

Lovely car. I liked all the TR range except the TR7. When I just turned 21 my boss offered me a TR3 (one of his several TR's) for £250. Insurance companies wouldn't touch me - same when I was looking at an MGA. Could only afford a Spitfire when I was a bit older. Certainly not a rocketship but fun to own and work on.

Would love something like that as a weekender.
