Alpina B10 V8 - £7500

Recommended Posts

ALPINA B10 4.6

Sadly after 5.5 years of ownership I will be selling my Alpina B10. Due to changing life priorities, I need something newer and more practical. I’m in no hurry to sell, and would Ideally like to see it stay with an enthusiast. The car is a great drive, and is quickly becoming an appreciating classic. It has a few minor faults listed below, but due to changing life priorities I just don’t have time to tinker like I used to.

153,000 Miles

6 Previous Owners

MOT until January

Tyres with good tread depth (Rears are around 1 year old with a few thousand miles).

I have done a lot of work on the car, with over £6,000 in receipts in my ownership. I’ve done a significant amount of work on the car over the years, including:

  1. New valve cover gaskets

  2. New battery ~12 months

  3. Sills Rust repair (£2,000 worth)

  4. Gearbox oil flush

  5. New disks and pads (500 miles ago)

  6. Timing chain tensioner

  7. Valley pan gaskets

  8. Replacement Hoses and Radiator

  9. New Water pump

  10. Serpentine belt and pulley

  11. Ignition switch

  12. Aux Fan replace

  13. Intake manifold gaskets

  14. Wheels powder coated

  15. Retrimmed steering wheel

  16. Brand new mats.

  17. Repaired power-fold mirrors.

  18. Fuel pump

  19. Fresh spark plugs and oil change and filter every 12 months with 0w30 oil.

I personally service the car myself every 12 months, and in the last few weeks it has had a full change of Air/Oil/Fuel filters along with spark plugs. The car runs sweetly, and pulls well in all gears.

As with any car that is 20 years old, There are some minor issues, which I’ve listed below.

  1. Sunroof isn’t working correctly, rattling and tilt function isn’t working properly.

  2. Sport Shift down button doesn’t work on the steering wheel, but does on the gear lever.

  3. Stone chips, the paint work has some scuffs and marks and could do with a professional detail.

  4. “Check brake lights” pops up intermittently.

  5. Air con needs a regas.

I will throw in a haynes manual, some adapters and spares. Mileage may creep up as it is my daily at the moment.

I’m asking £7500 O.N.O, which I think is a fair price given the rising market and the condition of the car. It has a few faults, but would do well in the hands of an enthusiast. Any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
